Weichen Wang

Wei-Chen Wang is VP of AI Inference at Nebius, where he leads the development of high-performance AI inference infrastructure for large-scale production workloads. He previously co-founded Eigen AI, an AI infrastructure startup focused on making AI inference faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective. Eigen AI was acquired by Nebius in 2026, bringing its optimization technology into Nebius’s global AI cloud platform.
Before founding Eigen AI, Wei-Chen was an Applied Scientist at Amazon Lab126 and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at MIT’s HAN Lab, working with Prof. Song Han on efficient AI systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from National Taiwan University.
His experience spans frontier AI technology, systems engineering, company building, and translating cutting-edge research into production-scale infrastructure. His work has been published at leading venues including NeurIPS, MLSys, ISSCC, and MICRO, and he is a recipient of the 2024 MLSys Best Paper Award.
